I've always loved exploring how lights shape and bring the night to life. From neon signs begging for our attention to lamp posts amplifying lonely sidewalks, light animates our times of darkness.

Much of my night work is purposefully out of focus and I love employing long exposures.  I feel that images being out of focus brings a dreamlike quality to the images and highlights the beauty of the color combinations and shapes instead of trying to focus on what the light is trying to highlight in the world.
